World Diabetes Foundation

We are happy to announce that here we are global and World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) have become official partners.Here we are global is looking for opportunities for global professionals to learn, work and volunteer while on the move. WDF is looking for volunteers who can support the foundation's work in low and middle countries by organizing events such as Diabetes Walks.WDF is an independent trust dedicated to the prevention and treatment of diabetes in the developing world.WDF was founded by Novo Nordisk A/S in 2002 as an independent and non-profit foundation, and is one of the few funding mechanisms dedicated to preventing and treating diabetes in developing countries.Over the last 15 years WDF has provided more than 130 million USD for the funding of more than 500 projects in 116 countries. Please visit WDF's webpage to learn more about the foundation's mission and projects.One of the ways WDF is raising awareness and funds is by organizing Diabetes Walks. In 2017 more than 1 million people in more than 80 countries participated in the yearly event, and the foundation is working to involve even more.
