Setting the scene for a growing network

It has been 8 months since the inception. Several evening events and brown bag lunches later – and from another continent - we are now able to introduce our very first video on here we are! As with any activity within our network the video is a result of collaboration between professionals from all walks of life:

  • Elyor Nematov (www.nematov.org) and Symon Lord are the main architects behind the footage from Bishkek.

  • The events featured were a session with Priya Jayant on Women Empowerment taking place at Sierra Cafe (www.sierra.kg) and a brainstorming session for members and Key Resource Persons on the further development of our network at American University of Central Asia (www.auca.kg).

  • At the latter session in Bishkek we represented 10 nationalities and our professional background range from Management Consulting, Ethno-musicology, Public Relations, Nomadic Studies, Human Resource Management, International Teaching to Architecture and Sustainable Development, Business Administration, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Development Work and Nursing.

  • In Copenhagen we met at Republikken – a co-working space hosting remote workers, entrepreneurs and self-movers (www.republikken.net) The final editing was done by www.mediaspektrum.dk

A warm thank you to all involved in making this introduction happen! In the coming weeks we will share stories of change from around the globe. Follow us to see how we inspire and motivate, engage and contribute!
